I thought it would be fun to sift through some of the JSON’s in Darius’s Corpus Github Repository. It really enjoyed reading through some of the data sets. I came across one for Laundry Instructions, and thought it was sort of interesting in how it started to feel poetic to me when reading. I also was thinking about those laundry tags that start to dissolve, leaving you a little unsure about what instructions you’re actually supposed to use? I found a stock image from a google search, and edited out the tag to be blank. ❤
I think a random button generator could be fun too? Or maybe a double effect where there are nonsensical / not quite recognizable infographics on the tag? However kind of like it being left blank, and with the tag feeling like it has subtitles : )
I some difficulty with working with API’s I had hoped to originally? But excited to keep trying. I would like to try to use an API like Magic Seaweed that’s used for surfers to understand where the best breaks are coming in ❤ I think playing with marine / ocean data (like wave patterns?/average crest heights and wave decay) could be really interesting & beautiful? Will be seeking some help this coming week to see where I hit my difficulties working with the openweather API.
